Garden Time!

My Grandpa made me the garden box over the summer and now that the weather is cooling off its time for the fall garden!

Grandma the gardener came over Saturday to help me get my garden started!!

The girls had a ton of fun planting the seeds and digging holes! We planted 3 tomato plants, a yellow peeper plant, jalapeno plant a garlic plant and cilantro plant.

We also planted a row of carrots (which Bridget was in charge of) and a row of Cilantro seeds (which Caylee was in charge of). They got to dig the holes, drop in the seeds and cover them up.

I have a feeling there will be a huge bunch of Cilantro at the one end of Caylee's row! She did so good only dropping in 2 seeds the whole way through until she got to the end and saw that she had a bunch of seeds left over! So what did she do? She dumped the rest into one hole!! Oh well! We shall see what grows!

We found some great tomato plants at Lowe's that already had tomato's growing on them! In just a few days we will be able to pick a few of these to eat!!
